Lurn and The Singal Foundation build schools in the slums of Mumbai, India.
Since 2012, we have built 9 Dream Centres supporting a total of 1,100 kids who otherwise would receive very little to no education.
All Dream Centre students are currently raising money for a 10th school, which requires $45,000 to get built.
Dream Centres exist within the ARC Trust. The ARC Trust is a pioneering new trust founded by Ian and Naomi Hendricks, in response to the overwhelming need in the city of Mumbai and across India. The ARC Trust is registered with the Mumbai Charity Commission.
It exists to serve people from every stratum of society and all walks of life, irrespective of their caste or creed; through its innovative initiatives which include – Life Coaching, Counselling, Mentoring, Life Centres, Family Focused Community Programs and Educational, Developmental and Medical programs for the underprivileged.
The Trust places a high value on good governance, effective policies and skilled management in the NGO sector and people development. Its leadership approach is innovative and contemporary.

Lurn and The Singal Foundation proudly partner with Village Enterprise to help bring entrepreneurship into remote East African Villages.
Both Lurn and Village Enterprise believe in the transformational power of entrepreneurship. By partnering with Village Enterprise, Lurn and the Singal Foundation help start sustainable businesses in remote East African villages.
The goal is to fund 50 business with a $500 grant in one village.
This $25,000 contribution helps get businesses off the ground. With that the standard of living in the community of about 1,000 people raises by 40% and thus the cycle of poverty for the entrepreneurs, their families, and the community .
On average 1,000+ people benefit from this grant as their standard of living raises 40%.
So far, Lurn and The Singal Foundation helped fund two villages in East Africa and are currently in the process of funding a third one.
